OUTREACH PROGRAM
Through community partnerships in the Fargo-Moorhead area Red River Dance & Performing Company prides ourselves in offering classes for all ages, abilities, and demographics. Providing access to the joy of dance to everybody is our goal! When we are able to provide opportunities for children to be inspired they are given something positive to focus on and a sense of belonging. Our programs focus on teaching discipline, listening skills, persistence, body awareness, self expression, and cooperation. Using dance as our tool, we aim to provide individuals with a foundation so that they can have the strength to overcome any obstacle they may face in life!

"Many of the children in our program don’t often get to experience extracurricular activities in our community, like dance. The children who were able to participate in class this session had a wonderful experience. Children and teachers were both excited every week when they knew dance class was near. Children worked on important gross motor skills, social-emotional skills, and ways to move their bodies through dance. Children who it took several sessions to come out of their shell but at the end were dancing and growing in confidence. The confidence is probably the greatest thing I noticed!"
